| Admission
procedure for NRI |
Presently, two seats in MBBS course are filled every year from
NRI category in IG Medical College, Shimla, India. The candidate
in the first instance has to get the prospectus from the Controller
of Examination, Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, 1710005
(India) for the admission to under graduate medical courses
in the year of admission, which is usually available in the
month of May of the year of admission.
The cost of the prospectus is approximately 50 US $.
The candidate will submit the application dully filled along
with the necessary documents to the Principal, Indira Gandhi
Medical College, Shimla 171001 within the prescribed dates as
per the prospectus. The admission is offered based on the merit
of the candidate as per the marks obtained in the 10+2 (medical)
or equivalent examination. At present the tuition fee is 13000
US $ per year. |
