(Emergency) - All patients will be treated free of charge
for first 24 hour of reporting in emergency.
- No charge will be levied
for procedures and investigations and available consumables for first 24 hours
except special investigation & procedures like CT, MRI etc.
- Patients
shifted from casualty to general ward or private wards would be charged at prescribed
rate for respective charges from time he/she is shifted.
Declaration
of Poor Patients - All patients admitted possessing IRDP/
BPL Card / Certificate and recommended "Poor Free Treatment" by concerned unit
Heads will be decided at the level of Medical Superintendent. All patients without
BPL/ IRDP Card and recommended by HOD will be sent to Medical Superintendent /
Principal IGMC.
- Students (MBBS, Nursing and B. Sc.) treated in their
Sick rooms will be free.
- All patients of Cancer/ Tuberculosis/ Leprosy
admitted in Private / Special Ward will have to pay the admissible charges. Cancer
and Tuberculosis patients in general wards will be free.
- Treatment of
Freedom Fighters will be free.
- Special ward/ Private wards will be allotted/allowed
to Govt. Employees with Basic Pay more than Rs-10,000/-(Unrevised). All the patients
getting re-imbursement from Government or covered under insurance will be charged
as paying >10,000/-.
- Consumable not available will be bought by patient.
