- PCR laboratory facility for testing pandemic influenza
A H1N1has been established.
- Trauma and Critical Care Van for hsopital transport facility
of seriously ill patients are operational with basic life support
and monitoring facilities.
- Fully equipped two Emergency operation Theatres, six bedded
Cardiac Care Unit, Echo Cardiography Machine and a waiting hall
of accomodating capacity of nearly 500 persons, in total a project
more than 4 crores has been inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister
on 23rd November 2009.
- Hospital has started exclusive Geriatic and Adolescent Clinic
in the year 2009.
- The telemedicine facility has been made fully functional. IGMC,
Shimla is connected withPGI Chandigarh and SGPGI Lucknow for data
session and videoconferencing .
- E-Library has been made fully functional.
